For the past four years, Donna Jones has done a teriffic job working for the people of Idaho as our State Controller. She’s fiscally responsible, and has worked to make her office more efficient by reducing the office’s staff size and cutting it’s budget – all the while doing more for the people of Idaho with fewer resources. She’s also been a strong advocate for our public schools through her service on the Land Board.

Donna is the most qualified candidate for the job. She has years of successful experience in business, served in the Legislature and was the first woman ever to chair the powerful House Revenue and Taxation Committee, and she ran Idaho’s Real Estate Commission. Donna is an outstanding manager.

The State Controller fills an important role in state government – that’s why the job needs to be filled by a strong and proven manager. The State Controller pays all of the state’s bills, makes payroll for all of the state employees, runs Idaho’s largest data center, and serves on the Idaho Land Board. On all fronts, Donna Jones has done a great job for the people of Idaho.
